Who I Am

Hey, I'm Nick - a data analyst who enjoys working with generative AI to simplify everyday tasks. With a foundation and interest in human cognition, I always try to approach technology thoughtfully, aiming to build tools that feel intuitive and genuinely helpful for users.

On a typical day, you'll find me raving about the newest AI models, building new tools, or fine-tuning data pipelines. When I'm not working with data, I'm probably experimenting with coffee brewing techniques, dabbling in astrophotography, or exploring Azeroth in World of Warcraft.

AI Job Matchmaker

This project features an AI Agent that processes a candidate's CV to extract key skills and a professional summary. It then automatically searches remote job boards (e.g., RemoteOK) for relevant opportunities and provides a personalised analysis of why each job is a good fit, followed up by a cover letter for each job.

Community Analysis of /r/Malta Subreddit

This project uses Python's asyncpraw package to analyse the /r/malta subreddit. It generates posting heatmaps and user interaction networks to visualise community behaviour and engagement patterns.

MCU Data Analysis

This two-part analysis scrapes IMDb data to explore the MCU's financial and critical performance. Using regression and clustering, it identifies key factors that drive box office success, tests the 'phase fatigue' theory, and reveals distinct tiers of films based on their performance metrics.
